The Gilgandra Region is simple to get to, no matter where you’re coming from.
Gilgandra sits on the junction of three major highways (Newell, Castlereagh and Oxley). We’re only a 45 minute drive from Dubbo and 5 ½ hours from Sydney.
The nearest airport and train station are in Dubbo and then we’re a short drive or bus ride away. Travel safe, we can’t wait to see you Goin' to Gil!

Gil Loop $5/ticket
The Under the Gums Gilgandra Loop bus is set to pick you up from around Gilgandra, take you to Under the Gums and then home again when the action is over!
Loop Times:
Pick-up: loop from 1:45pm - 5:45pm
Drop off: loop from 8:45pm - 10:45pm

The dedicated Under the Gums bus > bringing you from Dubbo (via Eumungerie) to Under the Gums and then home again when the action is over!
Pick-up Dubbo Visitor Information Centre @ 12:30pm & Drovers Dog Tavern Hotel, Eumungerie @ 1:10pm.
Event Start @ 1:30pm | Event Finish @ 9:30pm | Bus will return after the fireworks
